Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC)
In accordance with the University Grants Commission (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2019, the Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) has been constituted at Bikash Bharati Law College and is operational since 06.06.2023 to ensure a fair, transparent, effective mechanism for addressing and resolving grievances of students.

Objectives of the Committee:
The Committee aims to create a responsive and accountable environment where students’ concerns related to academic, administrative, or other matters are heard and resolved promptly. The SGRC functions with a commitment to uphold the dignity of students and maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institution.
To provide an accessible platform for students to voice their grievances.
To ensure that all complaints are resolved in a fair, transparent, and time-bound manner.
To promote mutual trust among students and institutional authorities.
To safeguard students from any form of injustice or discrimination.
Students are encouraged to submit their grievances—whether academic or non-academic—in a respectful and constructive manner. The Committee ensures confidentiality and impartiality in every case and strives to provide timely redressal as per UGC norms.

Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within and outside the college premises. The institution maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards any act that violates the physical, mental, or emotional well-being of students.
The Anti-Ragging Cell functions as a vigilant and proactive body, creating awareness through orientations, campaigns, and interactive sessions. It also addresses grievances, conducts prompt inquiries, and takes disciplinary action as per UGC and institutional guidelines.
Through collective responsibility and continuous vigilance, the Cell aims to uphold the values of compassion, integrity, and mutual respect, ensuring that every student experiences a safe and supportive academic environment.

Objectives Of Anti Ragging Committee
To ensure a ragging-free campus: Create and maintain an environment where students can pursue their academic and personal growth without fear or intimidation.
To implement UGC regulations: Enforce the provisions of the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009 (amended 2019), and ensure strict compliance.
To prevent any form of ragging: Take proactive measures to prevent any physical, mental, or emotional harassment of students, both within and outside the campus.
To promote awareness and sensitivity: Conduct orientation programs, workshops, and campaigns to educate students about the ill effects and legal consequences of ragging.
To encourage healthy student relationships: Foster a spirit of friendship, respect, and cooperation among senior and junior students.
To provide a safe mechanism for complaints: Establish confidential channels for students to report incidents of ragging without fear of retaliation.
To ensure prompt investigation and action: Investigate all reported cases of ragging swiftly and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions as per institutional and legal guidelines.
To support victims of ragging: Offer counseling, protection, and necessary assistance to victims to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
To review and monitor anti-ragging measures: Periodically assess the effectiveness of anti-ragging policies and make improvements wherever necessary.
